Raquel Ramirez is the Founder & CEO of RR Consulting for HER. She has over 15 years of professional experience in the private, public and international sectors. She has held positions with organizations including; United Nations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico in the areas of the General Assembly, UNESCO, Conventional Disarmament and Financial Affairs. In addition, when working in academia she held the positions of Director of Bicultural Program and Department Director of Social Sciences at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Raquel is passionate about positive social impact through education, community building and empowerment. She has strongly devoted herself to creating programs for female empowerment and professional development on the hopes to help women struggle less and strive for more.  Today she provides Mentorships, delivers keynotes and leads skill building workshops and trainings.

Why did you wait before, and why are you not waiting anymore?

I waited before I let people know me. I hesitated for the longest time to engage in social media and really share who I am and the work I was doing and had accomplished. As so often of us, I was riddled with imposter syndrome as a newly minted entrepreneur. I waited to put myself out there and let people in, so they could understand why and for what I decided to start RR consulting for HER. I feared judgement, I feared failure and I feared ridicule. 

I had my baby girl, and the experience transformed me inside out. In many ways it was the most difficult painful experience in other ways it was a soul reinvigorating experience. I realized and was forced to acknowledge my inner and mental strength capacity. 

As a mom I had to step into my power and my truth like never before. Giving me one of the biggest gift of self-knowledge and self-appreciation. Therefore, the fear of others judgement, ridicule or failure lost weight and seemed unimportant in the face of my purpose and passion to empower women in the world- Since starting RRC, I have mentored numerous women, helping hundreds upskill, get clear on their goals and how to achieve them, lastly, I have shared my development method designed around strategic methodology that helps bring success in the workplace to women, helping them accomplish a powerful, purposeful and dynamic career.
