Yael moved to Shanghai (from Israel) in 2010 after graduating from university. In November that year Yael started her first company and it took her about 2-3 years to build it and reach the point of break even. After that Yael started already thinking about the next step. And her my brother who used to live in Shanghai as well, we founded our OTA – ChinaClickaGo.com. They launched it in 2016. Unfortunately with the pandemic in 2020, they had to close other companies and she ended up with a new job at PTL Group. 

Why did you wait before, and why are you not waiting anymore?

I actually didn’t wait. I dived right in, head first, without much planning. I would encourage anyone else to do the same but, in a better way than I did. 

Starting a business is more than just the technical issues, there is the personal issue as well and the whole entrepreneurship part too.
